Adam Hintz is the current president of Friends of Wilderness Park. He’s passionate about the biodiversity of Wilderness Park and enjoys spending time in the park on a regular basis. He hosts guided hikes in the park and enjoys teaching the public on the priceless community that Wilderness Park is. Adam co-owns Meadowlark Coffee & Espresso, which has been open since Earth Day 2005 and serves local, fair trade, organic and/or shade grown products. He’s also the host of an eco-logical talk show called Earth to Lincoln on KZUM, Lincoln’s community radio station. Adam enjoys being with his family and gardening. He won the Environmental Leadership Award in 2011. Adam is excited to have a place for community and local foods at the Southern Heights Food Forest, and believes it is a strong step towards sustainability in Lincoln.
