Annie LaRue has been an accountant for 40 years. She has worked at a managerial level in the banking industry, visiting nurse and currently is retiring after 22 years as Director of Accounting at Microfilm Imaging Systems, Inc., a privately held company. She had joint ownership in a nursery for six years and taught horticulture classes at Metropolitan Community College in Omaha. As retirement is approaching, Annie is looking to give back and has chosen Southern Heights Food Forest to volunteer her time, her talents, and her donation dollars.
